On Sunday, December 21st, at the 11:00 o’clock service the Chancel Choir will present Candles and Carols, an Advent journey that celebrates the traditional themes of hope, peace, joy, and love. This program, written by Pamela Martin and orchestrated by Mark Hayes, incorporates well-known hymns with exceptional narration. If you’ve been thinking about joining the choir but don’t wish to make a long-term commitment, you are invited to join us for just 10, 45-minute rehearsals, beginning Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 8:15 p.m. New members are welcome! Requirements for "member-ship" area a love of music, a desire to fellowship and pray with others who love music, willingness to learn new songs, and a sense of humor. Anyone interested should speak to Susan after worship.
CHOIR CHIMESCHIME REHEARSALS will resume Sunday 10/19 one hour prior to Youth Group. We are fortunate to have a small but dedicated group of chimers who add joy and excitement to our worship services. If you are interested in helping in any way, please speak to Susan after worship next Sunday. We are in need of foam pads and table covers, willing hands to set up for rehearsals and services, and full-time or substitute chimers. Help us “make a joyful noise unto the Lord!”
